Virtually identical in size and capacity to the Style A basket, this new Style G and Style G-LD basket is of all new design and construction.  The notable differences are found in the vertical support ribbing which are now placed on the outside of the unit and extra surface area has been added to the inside.  All sharp corners have been eliminated creating a much "softer" feeling interior.  These changes resulted in a significant improvement in product quality by eliminating the potential for product bruising or cutting because of contact with the internal ribs or sharp corners.  Additionally, the stacking height has been reduced which allows for a greater quantity of baskets (3,000 per pallet) to be stored in the same volume as the Style A (2,550 per pallet).  The reinforced load bearing corners have been retained.  These same revisions have been completed for the new Style RM basket.  For dimensions and basic specifications, see the Style R basket data.

Style G and Style G-LD are the same exact part with the difference being the material used to produce them.  Style G is made of the same washable FDA Food Grade material as the original Style A basket and is more rigid than the Style G-LD.  The Style G-LD is also made from a washable FDA Food Grade material but is more flexible and softer.  This is an additional aid in product quality improvement by providing a bit of a  "cushioning" effect for delicate, pressure sensitive items.
