We also offer the technical skill and creativity to recommend tooling modifications and design changes in order to maximize your production and minimize product costs.  Additionally, tool life will be extended through our in-house maintenance program, further enhancing tool productivity.

G-P Plastics has extensive experience with both hard and soft tooling. Soft tools, usually made from an aluminum alloy, may be suggested when parts and production requirements do not justify the expense of hard tooling with a life or capacity that far exceeds the product's production requirements.

At G-P Plastics, we believe in utilizing industry wide standards for our molds. Whenever possible we use bases and components from suppliers such as the DME Company,  National Tool & Manufacturing, Progressive Components and several others.  Standardized components assures our customers the greatest degree of versatility and reliability.  We also maintain a series of standard Master Unit Die (MUD^®) frames which offer mold cost savings on projects suitable for this type of tooling.
